Birch Hill Country Club boasts the only aqua driving range in the state of New Hampshire. The range was developed over a decade ago when the course was originally expanded to be an 18-hole golf course. The current island green that floats as a target out in the range has seen almost 15 years of action and weatherization. It’s time to revamp the driving range to enhance the experience for everyone from highly skilled golfers, new golfers, and everyone in between.

As of June 24th, we’ve engaged Aqua Greens to bring in and set three brand new island greens at different distances in the pond to help everyone work on their game and have some fun doing it. We’ll be bringing in a 9’x12’ kidney shaped target green, a 10’x15’ oval target green, and a 10’ circle target green. In addition, we’ll be removing the current large island green temporarily while we have it completely refurbished to present itself like new.

We’re expecting to start the aqua range overhaul as early as Wednesday June 26th or Thursday the 27th depending on weather. The Aqua Green crew expects to move quick during this process but will need some cooperation to protect everyone’s safety so there will be periods of time that the driving range will be closed to allow them to work. You can call the Pro Shop for updates on progress and when to expect the driving range to be open (whenever they’re not working). Optimistically, we’re hoping to move quick, not interfere with weekend play, and be done with everything early the week of July 1 with a tentative grand-reopening of the revitalized aqua driving range on Wednesday July 3rd.
